It is believed that they can fight free radicals which can damage cell tissues and DNA.

Marketed under the brand name TOCOVIDTM, the product also contains multiple health properties which can help reduce the adverse effects of cholesterol and hypertension.

Manufactured by Hovid Sdn Bhd, a leading Ipoh-based pharmaceutical company, TOCOVIDTM is the first palm mixed tocotrienol to be found in the Malaysian market.

Tocotrienols are a naturally occurring form of Vitamin E, which is usually found in cereals such as barley and rice, but the highest concentrations have been noted in crude palm oil.
